Communications

Through our Translational Research Support Core, you can work with EaRTH's communications team to amplify your work through tailored communications training, media promotion, and the creation of impactful resources. These services are available on a first-come, first-served basis to all awardees and can also be accessed through the Seedling Awards Program for EaRTH members. To ensure we maximize your media impact, we encourage you to reach out early in the process before your manuscript is published.

Training

We provide media training for researchers, empowering them to effectively communicate their scientific findings to the media and the public. This leads to greater public awareness and understanding of critical environmental health issues, ultimately influencing policy changes and improving community health outcomes.

Media Promotion

We help our researchers work with journalists and the UCSF press office to promote researchers' publications and findings, ensuring their work reaches a broader audience. This amplifies the impact of their research, leading to increased visibility, public engagement, and greater influence on policy and public health initiatives.

Materials

We assist researchers in creating resources like infographics, social media materials, and visual abstracts to effectively convey their findings. These tools enhance the accessibility and impact of their work, making complex scientific concepts more understandable for the public and stakeholders, and driving broader engagement and awareness.
